Last year, Right Up Our Street brought Luke Jerram’s Museum of the Moon to Doncaster Minster in the week-long phenomenon, DN Festival of Light. On our grand opening, we had a one-off spectacular ‘DN Light Night’ which lit up not only the grounds of the Minster but also the faces of our audiences - with interactive light installations and performances.
This year we'd love to do it ALL again but we need your help! We are now fundraising to bring Doncaster another DN Light Night. Every donation will go towards scheduling art and activities that will make the event even better (and brighter) than last year!
Right Up Our Street is working with artist Ed Carter and creative studio NOVAK to transform the entire interior of Doncaster Minster into an immersive world of light and colour, completely bespoke to the building. Not only will this piece of art only be seen at this festival, it has been envisaged and designed with Doncaster playing muse.
Doncaster Emerging and professional art fair aims to celebrate and promote the works of visual artists in the region and beyond.
This unique art fair gives the art loving public, galleries and businesses the opportunity to buy art direct from the artists over conversations and appreciation of the works available for sale.
The Grand Parade is a chance for Rossington to get into the carnival spirit. This is our third parade and each time there is even more art work produced by local residents. We will be showcasing work made by the 3rd Rossington Scout Group, 51st Doncaster Guides, Rossington Community Baptist Messy Church, S.M.I.L.E., B:Friend, as well as St Michael's, St Joseph's, Tornedale and Grange Lane Schools.
