Previous Sessions

Each Thursday in March, the Right Up Our Street Balby Bridge shop became a creative takeaway space where residents and families enjoy free soup and a roll, share a story, memory, or joke, and receive a bespoke poem to takeaway.

It was great to welcome residents into the shop space and offer them a warm cup of soup, whilst engaging with young people in a poetry session in our workshop space with poets from The Poetry Takeaway.
