Tickhill St Mary's C Of E Primary & Nursery School
In May we brought The Poetry Takeaway to Tickhill St Mary's C Of E Primary & Nursery School.
We worked with the school’s Year 4 and Year 5 classes, with Matt Abbott Poet and Head Chef Michael training them up as Poetry Chefs in the art of crafting bespoke poems on demand.
The Year 4 and 5 Poetry Chefs put their skills to work, writing poems for their fellow classmates, serving poems directly from The Poetry Takeaway Van.
There were some absolutely fantastic poems written and a lot of fun had by all.
