Stories To Get Us Through

Right Up our street is proud to be a partner with Public Acts Doncaster, for their new project Stories To Get Us Through. A new podcast series featuring stories written and performed by the people of Doncaster, inspired by real life events and created during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Partnered with Cast and The National Theatre, we are proud to support Public Acts of Doncaster in their new project, Stories To Get Us Through.

The Project is directed by James Blakey, who led one of our R&D Projects last year, Lockdown Affinity, which was all about helping Doncaster communities stay connected, creative and hopeful during their time in lockdown. Similarly, Stories To Get Us Through shares a purpose of staying connected and hopeful through this time, using the people of Doncaster’s personal stories of strength and courage.

The Podcast consists of five episodes, where we hear a total of 18 stories, written and spoken by people from Doncaster.
