The Cosy Cinema in Mexborough screened everything from cult classics to modern British drama, the Cosy Cinema was the ultimate laid-back cinema experience.
Mexborough was once the proud home to eight cinemas, several dance halls and theatres. Teaming up with John Beal, we brought film back into the heart of Mexborough. The community could join us monthly at The Concertina Club (later the Mexborough Business Centre), where the club screened anything, taking on board suggestions from the community.
