The new and restored ponds will be connected by wildlife corridors, stepping stones of wildlife friendly habitats, that will enable wildlife to move safely around the region.

Castle Hills Primary Academy's River Bunting: The river bunting was created by key stage two from Castle Hills Primary Academy who joined DCRT on a river dipping experience and learnt about the creatures that live in the river. Pupils created the bunting flags using block-printing, with many taking inspiration from their river visit and the nature they saw. The bunting will be used to decorate Castle Hills Primary Academy's forest school area after the festival.
