“For me it was an opportunity to get the voice’s of our young deaf people heard, often when things are organised, sign language and deaf awareness are forgotten. I personally enjoyed working with the project and feeling part of my community.”

“I also remembered how much I enjoy working with people who enjoy what they do and the staff/volunteers definitely did. Everyone I met worked tirelessly to ensure the week went smoothly.

“We have been able to give our students more opportunities to perform to a larger range of audience.  A lot of their performances have been to their own parents/peers but the opportunities offered by RUOS has enabled our students to take part in a massive range of different performances and different venues which stands them in good stead for entering any dance/performance industry.  As teachers/organisers of Cre8ive Dance Academy, we have also been able to create new links with other companies that have been involved in these events with RUOS.”
